Where can I get goerli ETH ?
The alchemy faucet literally gives only 0.02 eth whereas an approve function requires 0.3 eth ?

if your function is requiring 0.3eth, then there might be something wrong
Ah ok, nevermind, goerli gas fees are high
If you can't afford the time to fork a network, I recommend using bsc testnet
