Guys, I never got into web3 especially, there is an order to write a contract for bsc with default functions, tax and burning through a dead address, how long can you understand solidity with a background in cs and write such a contract in terms of complexity? And mb someone can throw references

This site got me into solidity. The og site

they can blacklist you whenever they want
everything is fine as long as it is not pink
let's change color
purple is cool

new github look is cool

how did you open it?

did you manage to integrate chatgpt?
Feb 24, 2023, 12:43 PM
it's coPilot 😉

eye-burning theme

top gun addon when it comes to repeat some code or preparing a json/parser
it's the best theme ever made u.u
Feb 24, 2023, 12:45 PM
is it good with solidity?
Feb 24, 2023, 12:45 PM
yes and no
as chatGpt, sometimes it just suggest wrong code
as the name suggest, it's for real a coPilot, it suggest part of codes you already used in the project
like for scripts, if i make a new async function, it will use the same "structure"
but you can clearly see it doesn't know how to call the contract
or it does with wrong functions (what it's been trained on)

maybe because it is free for students

You invest 30$, if those tools save you 1h of your job-time, they're free for the rest of the month
Feb 24, 2023, 1:40 PM
Sure but reducing costs is a must before you find the right pace. I can’t just have expensive things and yet no income you know what I’m saying
Actually I’ve never had expensive shit lol
Feb 24, 2023, 1:50 PM
all depends on how you wanna play the game
Feb 24, 2023, 1:51 PM
those tools won't miraculously solve your issues

Feb 24, 2023, 1:51 PM
Never said so, if you’re a good coder you do it by yourself ☝️
Feb 24, 2023, 1:52 PM
they basically save time if you know how to use and the topic is "clear"
yep, but why do it alone when you can have a co-pilot? 😁
Feb 24, 2023, 1:52 PM
And there’s always Stackoverflow, you. com, and github
Feb 24, 2023, 1:53 PM
I do it myself, mostly Google and stackoverflow/github when needed
Feb 24, 2023, 1:53 PM
time to embrace AI 👀
Feb 24, 2023, 1:53 PM
It won’t solve everything. You might need to be inventive and GitHub Co-Pilot won’t help you in that case 😂
Feb 24, 2023, 1:54 PM
when it's mature enough to write better code,
not wanna deal with gibberish unmaintainable code
StackOverflow doesn't allow AI for the same reason
Feb 24, 2023, 1:55 PM
it doesn't necessarly have to write code, you can use it to plan, add strategies or optimizing already working code or ask for implementation suggestions
Feb 24, 2023, 1:59 PM
I feel like having GitHub co -pilot It’s like you want to drive a car but you also want someone helping you to drive by speeding, braking etc.. you know what I’m saying
