"crypto enthusiasts" are obsessed with uploading assets to ipfs, although you still can upload shit.png and just change base uri... I'd try to convince your clients that decentralized approach is much easier and cheaper if you need to change metadata regularly

I don't think he is breaking any rules, he is just asking if someone can help him test his website, anyone can create a new wallet to test it on testnet without any risk, I don't think it is necessary to share the full code so anyone can copy his project and get his work for free
