Hi, everyone, I want ask, what with jobs situation in Solidity? I noticed that there is very little work, so I want to ask if it makes sense to go further in this direction, or not?

If it the money that is driving you to the evolving technology i will advice you stay where you are. Cause you are a 2 years late.
You may as well ask, what would have drive you or what drives me, the name and explanation of how it works was what drives me few years ago, though i was bit late to get the money, but proceeding cause of how evolving the technology is and work.
Great minds behind the technology i must confess.
So make your choice.

there is still great demand for truly skilled solidity developers, unless I'm missing huge swathes of reputed ones looking for work
By the way, dumb question, but to transfer an erc20 token yourself, how come you dont need to grant yourself approval via the token's sc?
since most transfer functions now point to transferfrom

TransferFrom points to _transfer
Reading the code openzeppeline code will show more light.

I mean if you were to use transferFrom it implies you should actuaully have to approve yourself
that being said no such restriction seems to imply on transfer() (the contract i was looking at which prompted the question was a nonstandard implementation)

Hey guys
In terms of security, which is supported to transfer to, let's say, a seller in an NFT marketplace
Ether or Wrapped Ether?

quite true. the days of jeets who copy and paste contracts being called “devs” ended ages ago. now only actual developers get work, but it’s still lucrative (as is most branches of computing if you’re talented)
lol
"fast tracking"
Aug 6, 2022, 10:17 AM
Fast tracking is legit though but can only be done through an insider. But having people pay for filling in the listing form, who’d be lazy enough to pay for that, takes no more than 5 minutes. Imagine putting all the effort in to get liq up too 30k and volume up to 100K daily and then paying for filling in a form lmao.
Aug 6, 2022, 10:25 AM
I got listed in a day without fast track, cmc etc themselves say not to pay for fast track.
Aug 6, 2022, 10:35 AM
Yeah but the project you’ve listed must’ve ticked all requirements to list, a lot of projects want to list while not having enough holders/liq/volume - thats where an insider comes in.

yeah, a great way to get shitcoins out there so ignorant investors can lose money quicker.
Aug 6, 2022, 11:28 AM
Yes, and water is wet - what’s your point.
Aug 6, 2022, 11:37 AM
that shitcoins are harmful to the adoption and perception of crypto.
fortunately shitcoins and junk nfts are dying off.
also water isnt wet.

Judging from the quality of code I stumble upon on explorers I think fake devs are still a huge thing
But quite sure they all get caught at some point once they screw up badly something
But for sure that's not the best field in which to pretend to be able to do something, there's people's money at stake and if you cause a huge loss because you are a newbie then you might have consequences
Better to avoid that and go play with play station instead of people's money
Aug 6, 2022, 3:53 PM
yeah but they earn less now hah
Aug 6, 2022, 6:37 PM
late? haha, it's a big area, what has of project hiring is not written and this considering that we are in the bearmarket, when btc goes up again, great opportunities will come
