When i debug in the console window.ethereum is not undefined","publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"draquery.com"}}

Does anyone know any reason why window.ethereum would be undefined on a webpage.
Metamask is installed and working with other sites.
Im testing it with a simple script tag.
