Anyone got an idea how to create multi-chain tokens? Without using bridge services

you need a bridge to send tokens from one chain to another. As far as I know there's no other way

I've seen some projects do this, and I've been trying to figure it out

What projects? Chains are separate, so you could launch a token on multiple chains, but in order for them to be considered equal you would need a bridge so people can move tokens across the chains.

There is, actually, an interesting project called Metronome. It uses a technique called Chainhop. It was created by Jeff Garzik, one of Bitcoin early contributors.

However, it uses “miners”. Some kind of oracles that provide attestations that some txs happen in other chains.
