Hello experts...I have a preliminary question as I am exploring more.

I am a python developer and at most I spin up a virtual machine to test my code that too on my local resource... So I don't pay anything.

If I start learning solidity, can I test my wallet, NFTs for free or do I have to pay something somewhere?

I am a beginner and trying to wrap my head around this before I invest too much time into this.
