Dudes what's going on with my contract)))
I wanted to change the SetBaseUri but I get an unbearable number)))))

Oct 27, 2021, 4:09 PM
what could it be))
Oct 27, 2021, 4:09 PM
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Oct 27, 2021, 4:10 PM
the contract is already in etherscan Mainnet
Oct 27, 2021, 4:10 PM
Contract is bugged
Oct 27, 2021, 4:10 PM
The transaction is estimated as "always failing" - gas cost set to max value
Oct 27, 2021, 4:10 PM
Poor metamask doesn't know what to doπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Do not allow that
Oct 27, 2021, 4:11 PM
only to shovel (redeploy)?
Oct 27, 2021, 4:11 PM
It would just fail
There is something wrong with the contract
A require or assert statement is stopping the transaction
Or something else
Need to look at the code
Oct 27, 2021, 4:12 PM
https://etherscan.io/address/0x2ce5a05aa98509632aa04a036337d0f8305e9e64#code
Oct 27, 2021, 4:13 PM
tbh I can’t find any problems, weird...
Oct 27, 2021, 4:14 PM
Which function did you call?
Oct 27, 2021, 4:14 PM
setBaseuri
Oct 27, 2021, 4:15 PM
Is this the wallet which deployed the contract?
Oct 27, 2021, 4:15 PM
no
Oct 27, 2021, 4:15 PM
It's only owner
Oct 27, 2021, 4:15 PM
ahahahahahahah
Oct 27, 2021, 4:15 PM
You can't call that function
Oct 27, 2021, 4:16 PM
ohh
Oct 27, 2021, 4:16 PM
Ye
Use the wallet in which you deployed
Using
Oct 27, 2021, 4:17 PM
guys, https://faucet.rinkeby.io/ works for you?
Oct 27, 2021, 4:17 PM
Metamask is so broken
Ye
It doesn't show if a transaction would fail or not
Oct 27, 2021, 4:18 PM
trying to get ether, but nothing happens. in the list i see … 7 hours ago
Oct 27, 2021, 4:18 PM
Probably a space before the wallet was pasted on the input pannel
Oct 27, 2021, 4:18 PM
nope
Oct 27, 2021, 4:20 PM
What does it show?
Oct 27, 2021, 4:20 PM
https://faucet.rinkeby.io/ shows the list with previous transactions. but they were 7 hours ago
Oct 27, 2021, 4:21 PM
Some bug i guess
Use binance testnet
It's faster
Oct 27, 2021, 4:22 PM
thanks
need opensea…
Oct 27, 2021, 4:23 PM
No problem
Use any other testnet of ethereum
It got like 5
Oct 27, 2021, 4:23 PM
only rinekby works with opensea
will try tomorrow
Oct 27, 2021, 4:24 PM
Send me ur wallet
Oct 27, 2021, 4:24 PM
thanks you very much!
Oct 27, 2021, 4:24 PM
Faucet ain't working
But sent you my balance
1 eth
Oct 27, 2021, 4:27 PM
thanks
Oct 27, 2021, 4:28 PM
No problem
Oct 27, 2021, 4:28 PM
wooohooo
75$ if use deploy wallet
@NeoMitashi Thanks a lot!
Oct 27, 2021, 4:36 PM
πŸ‘πŸ‘
2**256
It means the limit I think
This
Their code is super weird.
There is a medium post from Nick
Oct 27, 2021, 5:37 PM
Please share
everything related to ERC20 tokens, I'm hella confused
Oct 27, 2021, 5:38 PM
https://weka.medium.com/dividend-bearing-tokens-on-ethereum-42d01c710657
This goes in detail on how redistributing tokens work
On ethereum.org they have the ERC20 standard
And a lot about other standards as well
Oct 27, 2021, 5:40 PM
oh that's fine
Yeah gone through this, Now I'm getting most of the stuffs
Oct 27, 2021, 5:41 PM
That would help on how tokens should work
Try understanding open zeppelin stuff
It would help you a lot
Oct 27, 2021, 5:42 PM
Ok, will do it
Oct 27, 2021, 5:44 PM
πŸ‘πŸ‘
Oct 27, 2021, 5:44 PM
Please helpppp
I found this piece on internet, but don't know where the complete file is, anyone know?
Oct 27, 2021, 5:58 PM
There's just exaggerating simple math
All it does to calculate dividend is this
Amount to distribute * balance of user / total supply
This is shown even if the balance is not updated
It means that it is calculated and shown when a user calls balanceOf
It updates the balance when something does a real transfer
And there are a little more features such as tracking when a user claimed the last dividend and that's it
People make simple math like this impossible to understand
This is to save gas
Oct 27, 2021, 6:11 PM
Why divide by total supply? if total supply is not in circulation, then where reflection will go?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:12 PM
It is to calculate how much of the Total supply a user holds
And calculate the rewards based on that
The more you hold the more rewards you get
Oct 27, 2021, 6:14 PM
Let's say I'm holding 1% and 50% supply is burned
someone puts 1 ETH worth of buy in, and reflection is 5%.
Oct 27, 2021, 6:14 PM
Bro use ethereum jobs
Oct 27, 2021, 6:14 PM
Then how much I will get get on my holding?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:15 PM
The burn wallet also gets the dividend
Oct 27, 2021, 6:15 PM
F
Oct 27, 2021, 6:15 PM
You can also exclude that
Oct 27, 2021, 6:15 PM
How?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:15 PM
By reducing burned amount from total supply
Oct 27, 2021, 6:15 PM
But generally what people do?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:16 PM
Generally they don't do that
But it's better cause the users get more rewards
Oct 27, 2021, 6:16 PM
So, it keeps burning 2.5% more lol and every holder get less redistri
Oct 27, 2021, 6:16 PM
2.5?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:17 PM
I mean if 5% is redistribution, then 2.5% burn
and 2.5% actual redistribution
Oct 27, 2021, 6:18 PM
It's not necessary
Oct 27, 2021, 6:18 PM
If 50% is burned?
this case actually
Oct 27, 2021, 6:18 PM
To burn
Ok
Yes
Oct 27, 2021, 6:19 PM
One more thing, when a token launched, then let's say if dev burns 50% and then rest of the 50% will go to pool?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:19 PM
Ok
Oct 27, 2021, 6:19 PM
What actually mean to put tokens in circulation?
So 50% burned and now rest 50% I will put in liquidity?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:20 PM
Accessible tokens are in circulation
Since it's burned it's not in circulation
Oct 27, 2021, 6:20 PM
But I see sometimes only 5-10% in liquidity
Ok leave burn, let's say I have deploy contract, get toknes minted in deployer wallet
Now I will put those 100% tokens in liq?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:21 PM
Ok
Oct 27, 2021, 6:21 PM
To put them into circulation?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:21 PM
Yes
That's better because all the tokens are worth something
Oct 27, 2021, 6:22 PM
So buyers can drain liq pool right?
Like they can buy all the tokens
Oct 27, 2021, 6:25 PM
That never happens
Oct 27, 2021, 6:25 PM
why?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:25 PM
Because the price keeps increasing
Well yes it's technically possible
But it's very unlikely
Oct 27, 2021, 6:26 PM
Oh ok, so u never saw right?
Oct 27, 2021, 6:28 PM
Yes
Oct 27, 2021, 6:28 PM
It can happen, I will try to find
Oct 27, 2021, 6:28 PM
πŸ‘πŸ‘
Oct 27, 2021, 6:28 PM
How do transactions get reflected exactly? I don’t really get why we’re doing a linear mapping of two currencies
Its saying a ratio of changes between amounts determine the distribution amount but introducing maps of spaces is confusing
Oct 27, 2021, 6:44 PM
I explain it in a somewhat understandable way above
Oct 27, 2021, 6:45 PM
I see, yeah your explanation is more intelligible. I think they were trying to give an intuition and somehow make it sound more complicated
Oct 27, 2021, 7:13 PM
Reflect Finance
Oct 27, 2021, 7:44 PM
Yep, but they don't have it on their website
uint256 private _rTotal = (MAX - (MAX % _tTotal));
What this line of code means?
