Hello guys, Do you know what is MEV Bot?
I've deployed my smart contract to ethereum network.
but I can see MEV bot injection in transaction of smart contract.
I'm not sure what this is.

They lead you to a scamwebsite for "validating" and steal your keys

What does MEV stand for? Suddenly I got interested in all kinds of bots in crypto.

Miner Extracted Value. A type of service where you pay miners directly to include your transaction at a certain place in a block. Not related to gas fees

👍I see. Now I understand what it means to bribe miners and why miners have a lot of control over random numbers.

But miners still need to do PoW to win a mining opportunity. So I wonder what this kind of bot can do? Does it reach out to a massive number of miners?

MEV miners use a modified fork of Geth which does the work for them. The percentage of miners using this version is actually very high - last time I heard, around 30% of blocks had MEV transactions, probably a lot more nowadays.

A lot of mining pools have partnered with archerDao and flashbots

What does it imply?

They just need to use a fork of Geth as stated by Lauri as far as I know

Plus I think archerDao or flashbots is bribing them as well, like giving them tokens of their project

So that mining pools can always prioritize transactions by them? Is that the benefit of doing this?

Your transactions will not appear in the mempool, it will go directly in the next block

So the frontrunners won't even see your tx in the mempool

This is insight! It does sound valueable.

But other miners would still have normal mempools.

Do transactions still appear in those pools?

I'm still trying to get my ahead around this. It does not make a perfect sense yet.
