I've transferred from owner wallet A to wallet B, from wallet B to wallet C, no fees are getting applied to any transferred tokens between wallets in testnet.
But all fees are set, there's no function to limit fees, only wallet excluded from fees is owner and marketing wallet.

This is contract I've forked into test net.
First time playing with one of these earn token contracts.

Makes no sense to me why fees wouldn't be applied.
Aug 8, 2021, 3:17 PM
There is something fucking around with the testnet router, but fees should be deducted still
Aug 8, 2021, 6:17 PM
Try sending tokens with a different account to owner. Also have you added testnet router address? Some contracts compile with mainnet router most donβt though.
Aug 9, 2021, 1:14 AM
I've done that. I've sent from owner to another wallet, and from that wallet to another and back to owner, none work.
Also, yeah I changed the pancakeswap router to testnet router...
Maybe I'm using the wrong router, there's two testnet routers right ?
Which testnet router is v2

I can manually change the router I'm pretty sure after it launches, are you saying even if I had testnet router in the code, it may have changed it to main net?
How's that even possible.
How's that even possible.
Aug 9, 2021, 1:17 AM
No I meant if you forked a mainnet contract you may of left mainnet router in there. Most cases it will throw a gas problem
Try excluding a wallet from fees
And then switch it back
Other than that Iβm not sure sorry bro
Maybe it only works with liquidity fee but Iβm on phone so not sure

If one wallet is connected to another wallet, would the connected wallet be tax free as well?
You know how you can have multiple wallets under one account in metamask.

Aug 9, 2021, 1:22 AM
Shouldnβt be an issue
Aug 9, 2021, 1:24 AM
Actually it is, because I just created some fresh wallets and now the fees work, very strange..... I wonder why it's making wallet addresses connected to my main wallet exempt from fees...
Hey, if say the owner wallet is exempt from fees and you send from owner wallet to another wallet on your list of wallets, the fees shouldn't be applied right.
Owner wallet is A.
Sent from owner wallet A to wallet B on the same metamask account.
Sent from wallet B to a new metamask account wallet C... which is not connected to wallets A and B...
The fee was not applied when sending from wallet B to wallet C or from wallet C to wallet B...
So I made another wallet on the second account connected to wallet C, wallet D.
Sent from wallet C to wallet D and now the fees are applied.
This makes no sense if only wallet A the owner of contract is suppose to be exempt from fees.
Why is any wallet connected to wallet A under the metamask account also exempt from fees?

Is this a keyring issue?
I think somehow the keyring for metamask is making all wallets connected to wallet A exempt from fees.
I was able to transfer between accounts and the fees worked, but after that first transfer I am now getting these errors with every transfer between wallets which aren't exempt from fees.
π€π€π€π€π€
π€π€π€π€π€
I've increased gas limit significantly as well, and gwei, same issue unresolved.
Any idea why this error occurring?
Not sure what you mean Ser

Disable swap and liquify, if u have that function
Aug 9, 2021, 6:56 AM
Its likely triggered by Swap/SwapAndLiquidify, the contract cant execute that function for some reason
Aug 9, 2021, 8:04 AM
Cheers I'll have a look later
I'll take a look.
Aug 9, 2021, 8:25 AM
Had the same issues
Aug 9, 2021, 8:31 AM
Did you find a solution?
There's no ability to turn this off however.
Aug 9, 2021, 12:20 PM
Yeah turning it off works. It triggers because There is an error in your contract when taking fees
Or always use separate wallets for everything π
You could reduce the allowance π
Aug 9, 2021, 1:01 PM
you can't
when they have your sig
its done off chain
no tx
they'll store your sig
until they plan to rug
Aug 9, 2021, 1:02 PM
But they didnt steal sig, only they asked you to approve spending your BNB on your behalf
Aug 9, 2021, 1:03 PM
also, metamask has big red text that says that if you sign this they'll have full control over your wallet
no, that would need a transaction
on chain
they did it off chain
Aug 9, 2021, 1:03 PM
Wierd then
Aug 9, 2021, 1:03 PM
https://docs.metamask.io/guide/signing-data.html
In particular, the method eth_sign is an open-ended signing method that allows signing an arbitrary hash, which means it can be used to sign transactions, or any other data, making it a dangerous phishing risk.
TLDR; with sigs
Aug 9, 2021, 1:05 PM
Interesting didnt know they were that clever on it
Aug 9, 2021, 1:06 PM
that's werid af, maybe theyu are all connected to remiix
do u guys use testnet on bsc or rinkeby etc? Smart chain testnet wont let me add liquidity so i usually use uniswap
Aug 10, 2021, 12:52 PM
I use this website

Aug 10, 2021, 12:58 PM
ok
Aug 10, 2021, 12:58 PM
I need a contract that has
Auto LP, burn wallet 0x0000... and a marketing fee.

Aug 10, 2021, 12:59 PM
hm
Aug 10, 2021, 12:59 PM
I can do a fork, just need to find a contract that actually works.
Aug 10, 2021, 12:59 PM
i'll have a look
Aug 10, 2021, 12:59 PM
I found wife token, but their LP isn't sent to a dead wallet and I don't like that shit, screams rug to me.
And I want my investors to feel safu
Aug 10, 2021, 1:00 PM
by auto LP do u mean each buy and sell will go 2 liquidity (%)
Aug 10, 2021, 1:00 PM
Correct
And sent to a dead address.
Aug 10, 2021, 1:01 PM
ok
idk about the dead address
Aug 10, 2021, 1:01 PM
D;
I've literally been looking for like a whole week.
I've literally been looking for like a whole week.
Aug 10, 2021, 1:01 PM
not sure why u would want a deaad address, not many with that feature
Aug 10, 2021, 1:01 PM
I can't believe it's not a common contract.
Aug 10, 2021, 1:01 PM
nah people want that moneyyy
me the same π
Aug 10, 2021, 1:02 PM
Because LP being sent to dead address is unruggable
Aug 10, 2021, 1:02 PM
just lock that shi
or send LP to a burn address and should be fine when AUTO LO
lp
Aug 10, 2021, 1:02 PM
Could just burn the auto LP once every 24 hours I guess, but that's tedious.
I am sure a contract must exist with LP being sent to dead, a marketing fee + burn..
I swear it's because LP being sent to dead is essentially a burn in itself, so people just stopped doing it.
If you lock the initial Liquidity up, does the automatic LP being sent to that address also get locked up?
Aug 10, 2021, 1:05 PM
Why not just lock it for 1 year? Otherwise its quite straightforward to just set the dead addres as receiver of future LP tokens
Have you included any odd functions, dependencies or conditionals in the S&L function?
Aug 10, 2021, 1:43 PM
THanks.. troubleshooting :p

π
Aug 10, 2021, 1:49 PM
Yeah I just had a bunch of people DM me telling me to lock it for a year
I might just do that.
