Alright, I think I know what I am doing wrong here. To deploy on ropsten, I need to connect my metamask wallet's mnemonic here in config file.

But isnt wallet -> mnemonic 1:1 ? I mean I have actual funds in one of the addresses in my wallet

Yes, The mnemonic grants access to all the addresses in your wallet,

It's ok.. but don't put your mnemonic directly on your config file..use .env
