I guess what I meant to say was that the token has to be finished before you release it because it can't be altered once it's deployed, but I need to look into the fungibility a little more, I'm going to do it right now.
I was tinkering with the online compiler but I'm curious if there is a way to deploy a test contract for testing have testers from outside interact with the test contract.

Well depends on your plans. The core token functionality can't be edited once it's deployed but if you assign yourself all the tokens you cna just distribute them as you see fit, when the project is ready.
