I Wana know is there a conventional value that should be set to gas price while sending a transaction transaction?

Or does the gas price needs to be changed based on how complex is the function in which transaction is made

??

You are mixing up two concepts: gas price and gas limit. Gas limit is the limiting factor of contract complexity, so set that high if you have complexity. Gas price only affects how fast your transaction gets processed - you can se it to zero but it might take a year for your transaction to get processed
