Hey guys, I dont know if this is a right place to ask, but does anybody know what's the difference between TON COIN and TON TOKEN?

Toncoin is the main native coin on The Open Network. Used for paying fees, staking, etc.

TON Token which is known as Jetton, is a standard for defining new tokens in The Open Network. Like ERC20 in Ethereum. Examples include tokens like USDT, USDC, DAI, DOGE, etc.

I just want to know that TON isn't a scam right?
I think that I bought TON TOKEN through Metamask, recently, I tried to transfer to Bitget exchange and they only support TON Coin instead of TON TOKEN. 😵‍💫
